Central Floridians who want to meditate and groove with like-minded people of all ages will have an opportunity at a dance party scheduled to come to the region next month.
Club Divine, the monthly 'conscious dance party' from Chicago, features 'high vibrational' DJs, meditation, body workers, performers, yoga and musicians. It will be Saturday, Nov. 2, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Vitruvian Health Center, 353 Plaza Drive, Eustis.
Its organizers say the event will feature music including world rhythms and electronic beats designed to bring spiritual energy "with a purpose and dedication to achieving unity, respect and understanding."
The tour includes music from Srikalogy and Kai Chi Do, a movement meditation developed by Clearwater-based Charles Robinson, a licensed mental health counselor and clinical director of Alternative Treatment International.
For more information about the event, its tickets ($15 in advance and $20 at the door) and its other Florida stops, check the Club Divine website or the Vitruvian Health Center site or the Facebook page for the tour.
