Coraline (Focus) The latest animation from Henry Selick (Nightmare Before Christmas) concerns a girl who passes into an alternate reality where her parents are actually ghouls who want to trap her in their world.

The Pink Panther 2 (United Artists) Steve Martin, Jean Reno, Emily Mortimer, Andy Garcia and Alfred Molina try not to further sully of the memory of the late Peter Sellers.

He's Just Not that Into You (Warner Bros./New Line) Ginnifer Goodwin stars, but Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly and Drew Barrymore are also in the cast of this romantic comedy about people who "misread human behavior," with comic consequences.

Push (Summit Entertainment) Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, Djimon Hounsou and Chris Evans star in this sci-fi thriller about clairvoyants and others with "special talents" on the run from a government agency that wants to use them.

Fanboys (The Weinstein Co.) Jay Baruchel and Kristen Bell are among the stars of this comedy about Star Wars fanatics who sneak onto Skywalker Ranch to steal a copy of The Phantom Menace prior to its 1999 release.

Free Style ( Samuel Goldwyn) Corbin Bleu of High School Musical stars in this family-friendly sports drama about a kid who just wants to race motocross.

Feb. 13

Confessions of a Shopaholic (Disney/Touchstone) Isla Fisher stars in this comedy about New York fashion and publishing, based on the books by Sophie Kinsella.

Friday the 13th (Warner Bros./New Line) The long-running slasher series is re-booted, with new teenagers to be slashed.

The International (Columbia) Clive Owen stars as an agent in pursuit of an international arms cartel masquerading as a multi-national bank; Naomi Watts is a DA on the case; Armin Mueller-Stahl has sage advice for the hero.

Gomorra ( IFC) A documentary-like peek into the world of Southern Italian low-rent mobsters and the sorts of things they're mixed up in.
