A slew of talented female musicians, artists, filmmakers and burlesque performers unite for the seventh straight year as SWAN ("Support Women Artists Now") Day returns on Saturday. Organized (as usual) by local singer-songwriter Jennifer Hill, this year's event hosts more than a dozens bands (including Farewood, pictured), magician James Kain, spins by Shag Frenzy, more than 20 artists selling/displaying their wares, and a 10:10 p.m. burlesque show, all spread out over two floors of the historic Kelly's Pub.
