Room Service was written in the 1930s, but it's as fresh as anything being written today. The madcap comedy opens Tuesday at Westport Country Playhouse, a play about a producer and a ragtag group of actors raising money to put on their show on Broadway. It's set in a not-so-great hotel room in Times Square, in which the actor/tenants must figure out ways to avoid paying their mounting hotel bill while hoping for their big break. (The Marx Brothers and Lucille Ball did a film version in 1938.)
