Some of the more spectacular sharks and rays roaming the world's oceans are endangered, and though we know they exist, we know very little about them. Dr. Simon Thorrold uses data from satellite-based tagging to track them and try and figure out how they behave and what they're all about... so that we can help to keep them alive. Thorrold will be at the Bruce Museum Sunday night to discuss his work and the structure and functioning of ocean ecosystems in general.
The Bruce Museum, One Museum Drive, Greenwich. Sun, April 29, 2 p.m. Free with museum admission. Call for reservations. (203) 869-0376. brucemuseum.org
