STACEY PROHASKA

has been appointed executive director of The Allentown School District Foundation, a nonprofit with a mission to encourage, promote and support innovative educational experiences for students within the district.

In her new position, Prohaska will provide leadership for all activities of the foundation, including development, marketing and communications and program management. She will work alongside the board of directors to continue growing the organization and building its efforts to develop and fund programs that go beyond the school district's curriculum.

Prohaska has 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and development experience and was most recently the director of communications and donor relations for Muhlenberg College.

LISA MARIE KAYE,

deputy director of the Monroe County Veterans' Affairs Office, has been named The Coordinator for women Veterans for the State by the PA State Association for County Directors and Associates.

In this position, Kaye will gain a better understanding of the women veterans' needs and will work to provide up-to-date information on services and benefits to them.

CHARLES BLOCKSIDGE

has been appointed vice chairman of The Kutztown University council of trustees.

Blocksidge was recently the executive director of the workforce alliance and government relations and special projects for Allegheny County Community College.

He was the vice president of organizational development and the executive assistant to the president at the community college as well.

Blocksidge received a bachelor of science degree in education from Kutztown University, a master's degree from Duquesne University and a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.

JOHN WABBY

has been appointed chairman of the Kutztown University council of trustees.

With a long career in education, Wabby taught in the St. Clair and Danville school districts and was an assistant principal at Williams Valley High School and principal at St. Clair and Blue Mountain high schools.

He was a member of the PIAA District 11 Committee from 1978-2012 and served as chairman for the last 19 years. He was also the treasurer of the PIAA Board of Directors from 1993-2012 and served as treasurer the last nine years.

Wabby was president of the Eastern Football Conference steering committee from 1983-2003 and Schuylkill League president and vice president from 1977-2004.

Wabby earned a bachelor's degree in special education for the visually handicapped from Kutztown University and completed his master's in education degree from Bucknell University.
