1 lb. white potatoes, boiled

5 Tbsps. chopped cilantro

1/2 jalapeno (seeded and finely chopped)

1 tsp. chaat masala

2 Tbsps. breadcrumbs

1 Tbsp. finely chopped ginger

Oil for deep frying

Once the potatoes are boiled, remove skins and mash them. Then add the rest of the ingredients (except the oil) and mix them together. Form the potato mixture into little burger patties. Heat enough oil in a heavy sauce pan to deep fry the potato patties until they're golden brown. Serve them with mint and yogurt chutney, as well as tamarind chutney.
