New Allentown surveillance cameras

An example of an Allentown Police Department video camera that is mounted at 6th and Linden Streets. It was announced at a press conference that the City of Allentown and City Center have partnered to install 14 high-definition surveillance cameras in close proximity to the new arena. The press conference was held at 7th and Hamilton Streets in Allentown Tuesday afternoon. City Center is donating $150,000 dollars which will cover eleven cameras and they city will cover the cost of the remaining three as well as network infrastructure.
