Get insight into two exhibits at the Allentown Art Museum Sunday, Aug. 3 and 10, from two "Distinguished Lecturers."

At 1 p.m. Aug. 3, Donato Giancola, an artist whose work has graced book covers for "The Lord of the Rings," talks about how and why contemporary artists blend traditional features, like those on display in the exhibit of 500 years of Italian paintings, "Of Heaven and Earth," with the world of imaginative realism.

At 1 p.m. Aug. 10, Richard Aste, curator of European art at the Brooklyn Museum, will talk about how Spanish painter Fransisco Goya's "Los Caprichos" prints influenced two of Spanish Puerto Rico's leading artists, the the Afro-Puerto Rican painter José Campeche and the American-born Spaniard painter Francisco Oller.
