Obama goes 'Between Two Ferns' with Zach Galifianakis
Just because he's the president doesn't mean the interview would be any less awkward.
Barack Obama is the latest guest on "Between Two Ferns," the interview skit show in which off-putting actor Zach Galifianakis grills his guests between a couple of shrubs.
The "interview" begins as it usually does, with several insulting and pointed questions for the guest, in this case a question about pardoning a turkey, and then an inquiry on what it's like to be "the last black president."
Like most other "Between Two Ferns" interviews, the whole skit appears to be scripted, but the president holds his own against the insults. In one case, Obama responds to being called a nerd by asking Galifianakis if he thinks Michelle Obama would have married him if he was one.
Also like most of the other episodes, there's a clear reason why anyone would withstand the fake ridicule: Obama spent time talking about healthcare.gov, insurance for young people and overcoming the problems the website had early on.
You can watch the entire interview above.
