Brendan Sodikoff will bring new food and beverage vendors to two floors of the 900 North Michigan Shops mall, becoming the latest restaurateur to jump into Chicago’s food hall explosion.
Sodikoff’s Chicago-based company, Hogsalt Hospitality, will curate the new concept expected to open in fall 2018, according to Hogsalt and the mall’s owner.
There are expected to be 12 to 15 food stations in about 21,000 square feet combined on the fifth and sixth floors, mall spokeswoman Stacy Kolios said. Specific concepts have not been determined, but they are likely to include food from some existing Hogsalt restaurants as well as other groups, she said.
