Feds hear Glastonbury pipeline concerns

Representatives of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission heard comments from the public in Glastonbury regarding the environmental impact of the proposed Atlantic Bridge project – an expansion of portions of an existing natural gas pipeline that runs through Connecticut. The expansion is proposed by Algonquin Gas Transmission, a subsidiary of Spectra Energy, Inc. The Algonquin Gas Pipeline enters South Glastonbury from Rocky Hill, underneath the Connecticut River, and follows an east-northeast direction, entering Hebron near Blackledge Falls.
