Man killed in Santa Ana

Homicide detectives in Santa Ana were seeking the public's help Tuesday in developing leads regarding a fatal stabbing in January.

Jaime Mejia Zaragoza, 38, died at the scene after he was stabbed in the 700 block of East First Street on Jan. 20, the Santa Ana Police Department said.

Zaragoza was attacked after he got into an argument with someone in a parking lot, police said.

He was struck in the upper body. Detectives believe there may be witnesses who have not come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) 847-6227.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for any tip that leads to an arrest, police said.
