Craving a place in Toluca Lake?
"Twilight" star Peter Facinelli and his wife, actress Jennie Garth, are hoping for a bite on the $5,995,000 home they have listed in Toluca Lake.

The Paul Williams traditional house, built in 1937, was once the home of country singer and actor Tex Ritter and the childhood home of his son, the late actor John Ritter. The structure retains Williams' architectural details, including crown molding and a crescent-shaped staircase. Enlarged and renovated, the house has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 8,416 square feet of living space.

Formal living and dining rooms, a bar room, a game room, a kitchen with a fireplace, two guest suites and maid's quarters are downstairs. Upstairs rooms include two master bedroom suites, one of which has dual walk-in closets, a safe room and a sitting room with a fireplace. A separate second-floor wing has a gym, bathroom, media room and dual offices.

The gated, nearly half-acre property has a five-car garage, a large motor court, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue area and a children's playground. The swimming pool and spa area is anchored by a pavilion with an outdoor fireplace.

The couple are selling because they are planning to acquire an equestrian property for their horses, according to listing agent Andrew Manning of Prudential California Realty, Sherman Oaks.

Facinelli, 36, has played "vegan" vampire and coven leader Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the "Twilight" film series since 2008. He co-stars on the series "Nurse Jackie" (2009-present).

Garth, 38, starred on "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990-2000) and reprises her role on "90210" (2008-present). She also starred on "What I Like About You" (2002-06).

The two met when making the TV Movie "An Unfinished Affair" (1996) and were married in 2001. They purchased the home in 2003 for $1.35 million, according to public records.

Garth's mother, Carolyn Garth of Sotheby's International Realty, Los Olivos, shares the listing with Manning.

'Translation'? Just $4 million

Actress Scarlett Johansson has sold her walled and gated Spanish villa in the Hollywood Hills for $4 million, public records show. She had purchased the property in 2007 for $7 million.

The restored and remodeled house, built in 1931, has a period-style kitchen with original tile, a maid's quarters that could be used for a media room or a gym, and a basement. Rooms on the main level open to a glass-topped central atrium. There are four bedrooms and 51/2 bathrooms in about 4,300 square feet. The grounds cover nearly three-quarters of an acre with gardens, terraces and a swimming pool.

The actress and singer, 25, took over the role of Natasha Romanoff in the superhero film sequel "Iron Man 2" (2010). She also had starring roles in "The Other Boleyn Girl" (2008), " Lost in Translation" (2003) and "The Horse Whisperer" (1998). Her first album, "Anywhere I Lay My Head," was released in 2008, followed by "Break Up" last fall.

Brett Lawyer of Sotheby's International Realty's Sunset Boulevard office was the listing agent, according to the Multiple Listing Service, while Edward Fitz of Prudential California, Beverly Hills, represented the buyer.

Moving their act out of the canyon

Actress Missi Pyle and her husband, grizzly bear expert and naturalist Casey Anderson, found a buyer for their Beachwood Canyon area home, which went for $659,000.

The bungalow of about 880 square feet sits in the hills below the Hollywood sign. Built in 1926, it has an open-plan dining and living room, a wood-burning fireplace, two bedrooms and one bathroom. There are outdoor living and dining areas, a spa and gardens with fruit trees and wisteria.
