Oscar Pistorius faces murder charge
Oscar Pistorius, a double-amputee revered in South Africa for overcoming his disability to compete in the Olympic Games, shot and killed his girlfriend in the early hours of Valentine's Day in 2013. He was acquitted on murder charges but convicted of a negligent, although unintentional killing, known in South Africa as culpable homicide.
