Crossbones The series ends its run with its final two new episodes airing back-to-back. In the opener, Blackbeard (John Malkovich) sets out to sea in planning to implement a scheme that will force the members of his crew to determine how loyal they are to him. Then, in the finale, as Santa Campana comes under atack, Blackbeard goes all in to rebuff Jagger's (Julian Sands) attack. 8 and 9 p.m. NBC

Cedar Cove The women of Cedar Cove struggle with the future this new episode that finds Olivia (Andie MacDowell) feeling pressured when Jack (Dylan Neal) wants to exchange house keys and Grace (Teryl Rothery) is overwhelmed by debt. Sebastian Spence, Tom Stevens and Sarah Smyth also star. 8 p.m. Hallmark

Hell on Wheels As the Western series returns for a fourth season, with the big question: Did Elam (Common) survive his battle with an enormous bear in the Season 3 finale? We know that Cullen's (Anson Mount) is soon to be a father, and MacKenzie Porter joins the cast as his bride. 9 p.m. AMC


The Great Martian War This new import —an allegorical reimagining of the First World War — has humans waging a catastrophic battle against a race of extraterrestrials. 9 p.m. BBC America


A Fairly Odd Summer The third entry in the live-action film series inspired by the hit Nickelodeon animated comedy finds most of the main cast returning to their familiar roles. In this new story, Timmy Turner (Drake Bell) hopes to bid aloha to his worries as he and his fairies head off for a summer vacation in Hawaii. Devon Weigel, Eric Bauza, David Lewis and Susanne Blakeslee co-star. 8 p.m. Nickelodeon
