Lizzy Caplan | Showtime's 'Masters of Sex'
Her role: Set in the 1950s Eisenhower era, the drama follows Caplan as she portrays arousal analyst Virginia Johnson. Twice-divorced and a single mom, Caplan's character researches alongside the brilliant and curious Dr. William Masters, played by actor Michael Sheen. The pair are ultimately credited as the pioneers of human sexuality, unleashing the sexual revolution of the 1960s.

Linda Cardellini will soon be joining the cast of Fox's "New Girl" in a recurring role as Zooey Deschanel's character's sister.
Deschanel plays Jess, and Cardellini will play Abby, her sister, described by TV Guide as a troublemaker.
Cardellini, who most recently appeared on AMC's drama "Mad Men," will have a recurring role on "New Girl," though no word on exactly how many episodes she is expected to appear in.
Her first appearance will air in February.
