Arkansas Razorbacks: Hogs baseball selected for Manhattan KS Regional

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- "The Road to Omaha" for the Arkansas Razorbacks begins in Manhattan, Kan.

The Hogs (37-20) are a No. 2 seed in the Kansas State Regional.  Arkansas will open up Friday against No. 3 seed Bryant.  The Bryant Bulldogs won the Northeast Conference championship.  The fourth school in the regional is Wichita State out of the Missouri Valley.  Kansas State won the regular-season Big 12 Conference championship.

Arkansas' last two trips to the College World Series began on the road too.  In 2009, the Hogs rolled through the Norman regional, then upset Florida State in the Tallahassee Super Regional.  In 2012, Arkansas rolled through the Rice Regional.  Then, defeated Baylor in the Waco Super Regional.

The Southeastern Conference leads the NCAA in bids with nine schools.
