Shocker Women's Golf lead at MVC Championships
The Wichita State women's golf team will head into the final round of the Missouri Valley Conference Championship infirst place after the completed the second round on Monday at The Club at Poro Cima.

Freshman Bryce Schroeder followed her first round 85 with a 75 in the second round on Monday to put her in a tie for ninth. Senior Hollie Weatherburn shot an 82 and is alone in 11th place. Fellow seniors Hannah Martin and Sarah Gilbert are tied for 12th with a combined two-round score of 162. Meghan Schuetz rounds out the Shocker lineup and sits in tie for 21st with a 167 (86-81) in the first two rounds.

As a team, Wichita State remained one shot ahead of second place Southern Illinois. The Shockers bested their Sunday round of 325 with a 317 on Monday.

The Shocker women will look to capture the program's first ever MVC Championship on Tuesday. The final round begins at 9 a.m. Live stats can be followed on and results will be posted on following the completion of play.
