Two University of the Pacific Stockton campus students are under arrest on suspicion of sexual assault after an incident early Friday night.

A woman called police around 3:45 a.m. Friday to report she was the victim of a sexual assault at an apartment on Dave Brubeck Way, right next to campus. Detectives also responded to the scene.

Two male suspects were identified and soon arrested. 22-year-old business administration major Connor Gritsch and 23-year-old communications major Brit Smith arrested without incident.

An advisory message about the incident and subsequent arrests were sent to students, according to a UOP official.
