Sacramento County sheriff''s deputies used a canine officer and signal from a car's LoJack to track a stolen white Lexus down early Monday morning.
The car was stolen in North Highlands on Sunday night after three men allegedly approached a man, injured him and drove off in his car. Police would not release details about the injuries.
Police tried to pull over the car when they found it, but the car-jackers led police on a brief chase in East Sacramento.
The driver jumped out at one point and police sent out a canine officer to follow him and track him down.
Police were able to catch him and detained the other passengers in the car.
