Three quakes rumbled along the California coast Tuesday morning.
The first was a magnitude 3.1 earthquake that hit just before 5 a.m. It was centered around 9 miles northeast of San Jose’s City Hall.
The second was just 30 minutes later centered up along the Northern California coast, about 37 miles south of Eureka. It was a magnitude 3.6.
The third registered at 3.3 and hit just after noon. It was centered about 57 miles south of San Jose, east of Salinas.
There was no damage reported from any of these quakes.
