Pink's was one of Brando's favorite places, and the movie legend would often make middle-of-the-night runs to the hot dog stand on La Brea Avenue.
Now, in honor of what would have been Brando's 88th birthday this month, on Friday April 27 from 11a-1p Pink's is unveiling "The Brando Hot Dog," a 10-inch quarter pound all-beef hot dog topped with mustard, onions, and chili.
The public is invited to attend. Anyone dressing up as a Marlon Brando character will receive a free Brando Hot Dog. Accordingly, organizers anticipate seeing tough "The Wild One" bikers, Stanley Kowalski from "A Streetcar Named Desire," and Vito Corleone from "The Godfather."
In attendance will be two of Brando's adult children -- Miko and Rebecca -- who will be available to talk about their late father.
In addition, on display will be a classic 1949 Lancia Ardea -- the same car that was blown up in "The Godfather: Part II."
