Woman in Mexico Claims She's Pregnant With Nine Babies
SALTILLO, Mexico (KTLA) -- A woman in Mexico is claiming she's pregnant with nine babies.

Like, Nadya Suleman who gave birth to 8 children, Karla Vanessa Perez says she underwent fertility treatment.

Perez, who lives along the Texas border, claims she is pregnant with six girls and three boys.

State-owned news agency Notimex is reporting that Perez is due to give birth on May 20.

But not everyone believes her story.

According to Univision, not only isn't Perez carrying 9 babies, she isn't pregnant at all.

The network claims a Mexican doctor who performed an ultrasound on Perez determined her uterus was "empty."

The successful delivery of nonuplets would be one of the highest multiple births ever recorded.

In 2009, Nadya Suleman gave birth to eight babies, six boys and two girls.

They are the longest surviving set of octuplets in US history.

The fertility doctor who implanted Suleman with 12 embryos had since had his license revoked.
