Police Trying to ID Girls Allegedly Molested, Videotaped by Irvine Man
IRVINE ( KTLA) -- Authorities in Orange County are trying to identify several girls allegedly molested by an Irvine man in acts that were videotaped.

Matthew Christopher Tye, 31, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of having sex with two minor girls.

Police searched his home and found videos of him having sex with several unidentified girls.

Prosecutors say Tye had sex with a 17-year-old girl he met online between May and June of 2009. The alleged sexual encounters happened at Tye's home and in his car at the Disneyland parking lot, according to authorities.

The girl told a family member, who reported Tye to police.

While investigating that case, police say they discovered Tye also had an unlawful sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl during the same time frame.

Detectives are now trying to identify the other girls seen in the videos they found.

Tye is currently being held on $500,000 bail.

has been charged with 25 felonies, including lewd acts upon a child, oral copulation of a minor, unlawful sexual intercourse and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.

He faces up to 24 years in prison if convicted on all the charges.
