Today, the mugginess is on the rise along with the temperatures. Highs will top out in the mid and upper 80s, with a heat index close to 90°.
Storms and showers will be on the rise come Saturday. They'll mainly be in the afternoon. Some storms could be strong with hail and winds being the main threats.
A cold front will then swing through by early Sunday. This will spark more storms, on and off throughout the day. The same threats are possible.
Storms will continue leading into Monday. Rainfall amounts will be in the 1-2" range. Things clear out leading into Tuesday.
