Texas: The place to be if you need a job

According to the CNN Money, 5 Texas counties are on the top 10 list of best places to find a job.

Ft. Bend County got the number 2 spot with over 78% job growth in the last 10 years. Close to Houston and attractive to energy and engineering firms, making it a good place to send a resume to.

Just ask Roger Clemens, he just got a job playing for the Sugar Land Skeeters.

Williamson County, North of Austin, is in third place with nearly 74% more jobs.

In fourth place, Montgomery County, claiming over 63% in new jobs. Anadarko Petroleum has its headquarters there and Exxon Mobil is building a new campus that will add 2 thousand jobs from out of states to those already working here.

Collin County, North of Dallas, Ft. Worth, took number six with a 60% increase in employment.

Coming in at number 7 was Denton County in North East Texas with a 53% increase in jobs.

Unemployment in Houston is down to 7.5% from 8.6 a year ago.

 All in all, if you’re looking for a job, Texas is a good place to call home.
