`Sweet Caroline' out at Penn State football games

There is officially nothing "sweet" about Penn State football.  Jerry Sandusky's pedophilia has tarnished the program to such a degree, even a Neil Diamond classic hit has lost its innocence.

Sweet Caroline, supposedly written about Caroline Kennedy, often played at other sporting events, now seems inappropriate at Nittany Lions games.

It all comes down to this part:  "hands, touching hands, reaching out, touching me, touching you.

A spokesperson for the school says Sweet Caroline was actually scratched from the playlist because it's overused.  But that's a little hard to believe, since the decision came after social media started buzzing about the lyrics.

If Penn State really wants to clean-up everything about the football program, they should probably rename Beaver Stadium.
