It's the stomp heard round the world. Paris Hilton has a hissy fit and walks out of an ABC interview.
The frazzled 30-year-old socialite and hotel heiress abruptly exited an interview with Dan Harris after he suggested, God forbid, she was a has-been, and was being upstaged by her frenemy Kim Kardashian.
Here's a re-cap of the walk out that's gone viral.
"Do you feel as if people like Kim Kardashian are overshadowing you?" quizzed Harris during the Q&A in her newly renovated Los Angeles home.
"No, not at all," replied Hilton.
"Do you ever worry about your moment having passed?" he queried. The question was not out of line, considering her hyped Oxygen reality series, The World According to Paris, has been bombing in the ratings, averaging a measly 400,000 viewers.
But P-Hil was shocked at the questioning and looked off screen at her publicist. That's when she took her Louboutins and marched off the set. Problem, she had a blonde moment and forgot to take off her mic. So she could clearly be hear whining, "Well, I don't want all this being used."
After a brief huddle, a fake smiling Paris reappeared in the shot with a very well rehearsed speech.
"I've been in this business for 15 years now so it's been a very long time. And just like any other business person or someone in the industry it's always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects," the socialite said.
All well that ends well. By the end of the interview Paris and Harris made up, she even gave him a hug.
Do you think Paris Hilton is passed her prime?
Our viewers served up their thoughts on Facebook:
Travis writes: She is such a spoiled brat. She serves no purpose in the world aside from spending obscene amounts of money on worthless toys which she plays with then gets bored and wastes even more money. The world would be a better place without her.
Rick writes: I agree about being spoiled, and her claim to fame is being a daughter.
Rachel writes: *rolls eyes* Why am I not surprised?
Roger writes: Maybe she saw the promo for "2 Broke Girls"?
