While his relationship with Tipper was "cooling" off, Al Gore's relationship with another woman was "heating" up.

Two weeks after the Vice President and his wife announced their split, after 40 years of marriage, a cheating scandal erupts. And who better to leak the rumor, than The National Enquirer. The tabloid was the one to break the news about John Edwards cheating with Rielle Hunter. And that did prove to be true.

Well, this week on news stands The Enquirer says that the Gore divorce was caused by Tipper's jealousy over other women including "an environmentalist named to a prominent cabinet position by Gore when he was vice president, a sexy Hollywood actress, a gorgeous massage therapist" and "a Tennessee Titans cheerleader."

Star Magazine went on to report, that Gore had a two year affair with Laurie David, the ex-wife of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator Larry David. The Davids divorced in 2007. Rumor has it Gore and Laurie got "cozy" while she was producing his Oscar-winning 2006 documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth".

Laurie responded in a written statement saying, "The rumor is completely and totally untrue. I adore Al and Tipper and consider them part of my family."

The Gores have remained numb.

The cheating rumors are no surprise to Washington D.C.. Gore's extramarital affairs have been whispered about for years.
