It's amazing how the actions of just a few can tarnish the reputation of many. So, after months of making headlines, for all the wrong reasons and having the NCAA strip the Penn State football team of their wins dating back to 1998, it's finally time for the school to focus on football season.
More than 30 players, staying to play for Penn State despite the Sandusky sex-scandal, showed up for the first practice of the season and they got a much deserved surprise. Thousands of fans, students and members of the community turned out to show their support to players who're driven to get the school's record and reputation, back to where it should be.
There's no doubt it'll be a long road getting there, but just like Henry Ford said, "failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently."
