Susan Boyle is in the spotlight again, but this time it's not for her famous singing.

The 48 year old singer has been trying to get used to all the media attention. "Britain's got talent" Judge Piers Morgan says Boyle was seeing doctors throughout the week leading up to the finale on Saturday. The 'hairy angel' was hospitalized yesterday, according to Piers.

For the finals, Boyle returned to the song that made her famous, "I Dreamed a Dream," which is downloaded almost 200 million times worldwide. The audience favorite received 20 percent of the 4 million audience votes. But that wasn't enough.

Dance Group Diversity had a strong performance as well, and managed to stage victory. Boyle received second place, and graciously congratulated her opponents.

After the defeat, several news blogs reported Boyle was acting strangely. Sunday, she was voluntarily hospitalized. Prime Minister Gordon Brown spoke to the show's judges to check on Boyle's progresss. Piers says Boyle is doing fine.

Even though "the hairy angel" finished second, it's unlikely this will be the end of Susan Boyle's showbiz success.
