The Imperial County Board of Supervisors agreed this morning to submit a letter to the appropriate agencies demanding to be included in discussions involving potential court closures in Calexico, the Jail Court and Juvenile Court.
A grant application for up to $700,000 in state funds to amend the renewable energy development aspect of the general plan will be submitted today, the Board of Supervisors approved.
Mexican fruit fly larvae has been found in at least one mango recently, county Agricultural Commissioner Connie Valenzuela reported to the board. She asked the public not to throw away mangoes found to have fruit fly larvae and instead submit them in a ziplock bag to the Agricultural Commissioner's Office.
