    Allen J. Reese, 54, of Greencastle, formerly of Rockwood, died Nov. 20, 2012, in Washington, D.C., after a courageous battle with kidney cancer. Born Aug. 22, 1958, in Somerset, he is the son of Donald and Sally (Tirko) Reese of Rockwood. Preceded in death by his first wife, Melody (Hawkins) Reese. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife who cherished and loved him, DeAndra (Yates) Reese; son Jacob Allen Reese and girlfriend Tracy Zimmermann of Boston, Mass.; father- and mother-in-law, James A. and Marilyn P. Yates of Killeen, Texas; sister-in-law, Donna Massengale and family; brother-in-law, Keith Yates and family; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, including special friends Scotty Kline and family. Member of the Macedonia Church in Greencastle. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Macedonia Church, Greencastle. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Husband Cemetery, Somerset, with Rev. Will Osman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kidney Cancer Warriors, payable to Leigh Reese, 5118 Bino Rd., Greencastle, PA 17225. Arrangements under the direction of the<strong> Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset.</strong> Condolences may be made at www.halversonfuneralhome.com.
