KY Pride Trail Pickup Day

There will be a KY Pride Trail Pickup Day at Cumberland Falls on April 6. Participants will meet in the visitor's center at 9 a.m. and there will be a picnic at the pavilion at the falls at 2 p.m. For more information, call (606) 528-4121.


Hettmansperger’s Country Time Greenhouse Tour

Everyone is welcome to join the Gardener’s Group for an evening tour on April 13, 6 p.m. at the farm of Jay and Barb Hettmansperger, located just past Mintonville in Pulaski County. We will spend the evening learning how their operation functions throughout the year and get advice on growing, planting and selling as well as learning about heirlooms from one of the less than a hundred certified seed technologists in the country. LC Breast Cancer Support group to meet

The Lincoln County Breast Cancer Support Group will meet Tuesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. at the Fort Logan Hospital. There will be a brown bag meal. For more information, call Harriet Denham at 365-4785.


City of Crab Orchard to hold Spring Clean-up Days

The City of Crab Orchard will have Spring Clean-Up Days for RESIDENTS WITHIN CITY LIMITS on Monday and Tuesday, April 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two dumpsters will be located behind City Hall and all items with the exception of tires, appliances, batteries, paint cans, hazardous waste products, or dead animals will be accepted.  For more information contact Crab Orchard City Hall at 355-2319.


Good Friday holiday closings

The following offices will be closed Friday, March 29 in observance of Good Friday.

•Lincoln County Judge/Executive Jim Woods Adams

•The Lincoln County Circuit Court Clerk's office will be closed Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30.


LC Health Department to host Diabetes Self Management series

The Lincoln County Health Department will have part two in a three-part series for its Diabetes Self Management series. It will be held Thursday, April 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the health department basement conference room. This is a great educational series regarding diabetes management. Anyone is welcome to attend.
