Walker Earl Rowe Sr., 76, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, April 24, at his home.
Born April 21, 1937, in Mount Vernon, Walker was a son of the late Gilbert and Mattie Renner Rowe. He was the owner of County Line Auto Sales for 30 years, a member of the Pentecostal Faith and loved racing, cars, and going to auctions.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Henry Rowe; and one sister; Hazel Lucas.
Survivors include his companion and dear friend for over 30 years, Linda Durham; three sons, Walker (Deborah) Rowe Jr. of Stanford, Eddie Thomas Rowe (Penny Yocum) of Lancaster and Rodney Reed of Stanford; one daughter, Amanda (James) Lewis of London; one step-son, James Durham of Stanford; one brother, Floyd (Juanita) Rowe of Stanford; three sisters, Ella (James Earl) Wilder of Hustonville, Dessie (Eugene) Carrier of Highland and Lois (Tony) Preston of Danville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were April 27, at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
