STRATFORD — When the second-largest employer on the Connecticut shoreline is being sold to an enormous corporation hundreds of miles away, it's natural for people to be nervous. "Stratford is essentially finished if they leave," said David Bennett, a Milford resident who lived in Stratford for 40 years, and still owns a business there.
