Police investigate robbery at Big Lots
MARTINSBURG — Police were investigating a reported robbery Tuesday night at the Big Lots store at 1275 N. Queen St. in Martinsburg.
Boy charged with weapon possession on school property
WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro police charged a boy with possession of a weapon on school property after an Oct. 5 incident.
Police said the boy carried a pocketknife on the school bus.
Man charged with stealing more than $7K from Fulton County employer
McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — A Spring Run, Pa., man has been charged with forgery after he allegedly stole more than $7,000 several years ago from a Fulton County business, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Joseph Anthony Runk, 57, also was charged with theft by deception, according to a state police news release.
Troopers allege Runk stole $7,117.36 from Fulton Electrical Services LLC while he was employed as the company’s accountant from April 1, 2009, to Oct. 28, 2009.
Chambersburg man charged with yelling obscenities
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A Chambersburg man was charged with yelling obscenities outside his residence over the weekend, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Donald Wayne Barnhart II, 32, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to a state police news release.
Troopers said Barnhart caused an inconvenience to his neighbors when he used obscene language Saturday afternoon outside his home at 1660 White Pine Drive in St. Thomas Township.
Former Manitowoc employee charged with stealing metal from firm
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police said they have charged a Chambersburg man with stealing more than $3,000 worth of metal.
Alberto Heradio, 37, was charged with theft, according to a state police news release.
Troopers said Heradio stole $3,127 worth of copper and brass products from Manitowoc Cranes from Aug. 13, 2009, to Sept. 14, 2012. Police said Heradio was employed by Manitowoc Cranes when the thefts occurred.
