Ethel S. Hostetter, 91, of 20530 Millers Church Road, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at the Mennonite Home in Maugansville, Md.
Born Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1921, in Leitersburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late Reuben E. Martin and Cora M. (Strite) Martin Albin.
She was a lifelong member of Millers Mennonite Church near Leitersburg.
She is survived by her four daughters, Janet M. (Mrs. Ray) Eby of Flintstone, Md., Esther L. (Mrs. Gerald) Martin of Wickenburg, Ariz., Doris E. ( Mrs.Clifford) Martin of Hagerstown and Dorothy E. (Mrs.Arvin) Rudolph of Manchester, Ky.; sister, Edith V. Horst of Maugansville; brother, Lester Albin of Maugansville; 25 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Nelson M. Hostetter; daughter, Eunice M. Hostetter; sister, Pauline Martin; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Millers Mennonite Church, Millers Church Road, Hagerstown, with the Millers Church Ministry officiating.
Family will receive friends at Millers Mennonite Church, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in Millers Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.
