    It's Men's Health Week, and public health officials are encouraging men to pay more attention to their bodies. Not only should they be paying more attention to little changes that don't seem right, they should be getting annual checkups. Diseases common in older men such as prostate cancer can be treated when found early, and other conditions can be prevented from getting worse, says Mercy Medical Center urologist Dr. Ira Hantman.

  3. Green Ribbon Motorcycle Ride & Rally

    Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts and baseball fans will gather with friends and family on Sunday, June 12 for the Ninth Annual Green Ribbon Motorcycle Ride & Rally. The event will offer a day of fun-filled family activities including live music, food, raffles and a custom bike show. This year's rally will feature a classic car show from Monday Night Car Shows.  Ticket includes admission to that day's Kane County Cougars baseball game. Five Harley Davidson dealers will sponsor scenic rides to the rally.
