Passenger killed in Eldersburg crash

A passenger was killed and two other people were seriously hurt Sunday morning in a collision on Md. 26 at the PNC Bank in Eldersburg.

According to a news release from the Maryland State Police Westminster Barrack, a 17-year-old male, from Randallstown, was driving east on Md. 26 in a Lexus ES350 four-door at approximately 5:53 a.m. with two passengers. He crossed the center line, almost hitting a stopped vehicle, and slid across the lanes for westbound traffic. The vehicle hit a curb and rolled into the parking lot of the PNC Bank and down a hill, striking a concrete parking lot pole and a business sign.
