Since her diagnosis two years ago, Anna must carry with her a blood sugar meter, lancers and test strips so she can test her blood several times a day, a small juice box in case her blood sugar drops and a tube of special glucose gel in case it drops really low. These supplies are stored in a small kit that she brings with her wherever she goes. But they do get in the way.
