We would like to thank everyone who came out on Saturday, July 26 to join us in our inaugural Alzheimer's awareness and fundraising event held in the East Hampton Village. It was a huge success, raising over $3,000! Over 70 participants come out to enjoy a beautiful day hiking on the scenic Airline Trail to show their support and sharing their commitment to end Alzheimer's disease. Patty O'Brian, North Central Regional Director of the Alzheimer's Association, handed out literature and answered questions about the disease. Thank you to all the local businesses for their support and donations. Thank you to all the merchants who sponsored Trail Markers, which were displayed along two miles of the Airline Trail along with the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's Disease. We would also like to thank the entire town of East Hampton and the volunteers who helped make this possible and paint the town purple! We look forward to making Hike4Hope 2015 an even bigger and better event. If you wish to contribute, donations are still being accepted at and donate to team AlzHike4Hope. Thank you.
