The service offers confidential one-on-one, individual counseling, support groups and educational programs to the community. Dedicated to providing smokers with the help they need, the Smoking Intervention Service encourages smokers to work with the program as much as necessary to become, and remain, smoke-free. It offers these services in Middletown, Westbrook and Marlborough and most insurances cover the cost.
