What To Watch
Suspended friendship: Lucas was a high school teammate of Doty at Germantown (Pa.) Academy. After Doty's first knee injury, playing soccer in the fall of 2008, Lucas was forced to take over Doty's point guard spot as a sophomore. The pair played together in Lucas' freshman and sophomore seasons.
Series resumed: The Lady Lions and Huskies will continue a two-game series at some point during the 2013-14 season in State College, Pa. Four of their last five games against each other have come in the NCAA Tournament.
Defense: The Huskies are outscoring opponents by 44.0 a game. Stewart leads them in rebounding (6.4) with Dolson (6.3) right behind. … The Lady Lions have lost seven in a row to the Huskies, all of which have been played at neutral sites, including last season's Sweet 16 game in Bridgeport. Nickson had 19 points and five rebounds in that loss. Lucas had 15 points and three assists.
