Life backstage and behind the curtain will make up three shows in this season’s Nutmeg Summer Series presented at the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre on the UConn campus in Storrs.

“A Chorus Line” opens the three-show series June 5 to 14. Cassie Abate directs.

Next up will be Jerry Adler (TV’s “The Good Wife,” “Rescue Me,” “The Sopranos”) and Richard Kline (TV’s “Three’s Company”) will star in Neil Simon’s “The Sunshine Boys.”

Adler was also in Connecticut Repertory Theatre’s premiere of “I’m Connecticut.” Kline made his Broadway debut in “City of Angels” and played the Wizard in the national tour of “Wicked.” The show, staged by Connecticut Repertory Theatre’s artistic director Vincent J. Cardinal, will run June 19 to 29.

The series will end with the musical “Gypsy,” playing July 10 to 20. Casting of the shows beyond Adler and Kline have not been announced yet.

Subscriptions to all three productions are now on sale. Single tickets will go on sale April 15.
