A story in the paper yesterday said that white evangelicals do not march in lockstep and that some of them just might vote for President Obama. So, the Obama campaign is trying to woo the Christian extremists. Good luck.

I think that some of them might consider it their Christian duty to be fair to "that socialist in the White House," but in the end they'll vote for the Mittster, even though he's part of that "fringe" group, the Mormons.

More likely, in my opinion, the white evangelicals will stay home and not vote at all. They lost their boy Saint Rick Santorum and the convert Newt Gingrich. Who's left? Nobody.

Sidebar: Do you sense that America is already bored to death with the presidential campaign? Maybe it's just me.
