NAUGATUCK – A 43-year old Naugatuck man is facing multiple sexual assault charges after police say he sexually assaulted a minor in March.

Julio Ramos, 43, of Naugatuck, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with second-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor. Police said that the alleged assault occurred on March 2, 2014, and that Ramos knew the victim, who was described as a male in his early teens.

Ramos was held on a $100,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court on the charges on Monday.
