The automatic spending cuts that are going into effect this week if Congress doesn’t stop them will result in tens of thousands of job losses, Sen. Richard Blumenthal says. But one poll shows Americans don’t care much, maybe because of fatigue over constant budget battles in Washington. Will the “sequester,” as it’s known, hurt Connecticut a lot or only a little? Are Democrats exaggerating its impact? Or are Republicans blind to its pain? What’s your view?
