Glynn Boyd is an award-winning reporter who began working as a journalist in 1985.

Glynn worked in Houston at KPRC-TV for three years before returning home to New Orleans. Prior to Houston, Glynn worked in Baton Rouge, Montgomery, Alabama, Lafayette, Louisiana, and Biloxi, Mississippi (where he landed his first reporting job).

Glynn won an Emmy for spot news for his coverage at WGNO of the discovery of a child snatched from her mother. Some big stories Glynn has covered: former Governor Edwin Edwards' racketeering trial, Edwards' fourth and final run for Governor against David Duke, and Hurricanes Georges, Juan, Elena and Frederick, just to name a few.

Glynn is a native of Boutte and a 1984 graduate of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. He is married to WVUE-TV news anchor Nancy Parker-Boyd. They have three children, son Parker Coleman Boyd and twins Piper and Pierce Boyd.
